Jacari Harris
Jacari Harris is the Founder and CEO of Stimulating Success. For more than 10 years Jacari has assisted organizations to bring about meaningful change within communities. Since founding Stimulating Success, Jacari has been a trusted advisor to leading nonprofit executives, development teams, and development leaders. He has partnered with extraordinary organizations in designing, implementing, and providing strategic oversight to fundraising initiatives. The programs for which Jacari has provided counsel have raised millions through transformational philanthropic campaigns, grant writing, fundraising, narrative and story-telling facilitation, strategic planning, and board development.
Jacari is also a strong advocate for social justice and human rights. In 2021, following the devastating death of Goerge Floyd, Jacari was appointed to lead the George Floyd Memorial Foundation as the Executive Director. During his tenure, Jacari led programs that provided scholarships to under -resourced students, grants to entrepreneurs/business owners, advocated for policies that would benefit all, and helped launched a powerful film from the iconic Love Has No Labels campaign using real stories to showcase how acts of love can drive inclusion, equity and justice, which premiered at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2022 with the Ad Council and R/GA. The film won two Bronzes at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, an Anthem Award, a Webby, a Silver and a Bronze at the Clios, and a Bronze from the One Club for Creativity.
Jacari is a proud graduate of Bethune-Cookman University, where he served as Student Body President. He has studied in West Africa. He received a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus in Strategic Negotiations and a second Master’s in Emergency and Disaster Management from Florida International University. His distinguished service includes serving as an intern in 2018 to former United States Senator Kamala Harris, a legal clerk to Attorney Benjamin Crump, and a Professor for The Sydney Lewis School of Business at Virginia Union University.
Having grown up in foster care and eventually adopted, Jacari is proof that it's possible to overcome a rough beginning in life and endure a tough journey to find success and become an inspiration to others.
In 2020, his debut book Lost and Found: Finding Success In the Search for Self was released. In this book, Jacari offers hope and encouragement, as he knows that no one is perfect, but everyone has a perfect story to tell.
