Jacari W. Harris
Jacari Harris is the Founder and CEO of Stimulating Success. For more than a decade, Jacari has helped organizations bring about meaningful change within communities. Since founding Stimulating Success, Jacari has been a trusted advisor to leading nonprofit executives, development teams, and development leaders. He has partnered with extraordinary organizations in designing, implementing and providing strategic oversight to complement their fundraising initiatives. Through Jacari's counsel, organizations have raised millions through transformational philanthropic campaigns, grant writing, fundraising, narrative and story-telling facilitation, strategic planning and board development.
Jacari is a strong advocate for social justice and human rights. In 2021, following the tragic death of George Floyd, Jacari was appointed to lead the George Floyd Memorial Foundation as its executive director. During his tenure, Jacari led programs that brought substantive change around the country that included providing scholarships to under-resourced students and grants to entrepreneurs and business owners. Through his work with the foundation, Jacari advocated for laws and policies that would benefit marginalized communities and helped launch a powerful film from the iconic Love Has No Labels campaign. The campaign used real stories to showcase how acts of love can drive inclusion, equity and justice and premiered at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2022 with the Ad Council and R/GA. The film won numerous awards and recognition.
A graduate of Bethune-Cookman University, Jacari has studied and led business development initiatives both internationally and with grassroots organizations and small business owners. Jacari earned his MBA in strategic negotiations and a Master of Arts in Disaster and Recovery Management from Florida International University. His distinguished service includes serving as an intern to former Senator Kamala Harris, legal clerk to Attorney Benjamin Crump and professor for The Sydney Lewis School of Business at Virginia Union University.
In 2020, Jacari released his first book: Lost and Found: Finding Success In the Search for Self. In this book, Jacari offers hope and encouragement, as he knows that no one is perfect, but everyone has a perfect story to tell.
